About Digital Wellington

Digital Wellington, hosted and supported by the South Central Kansas Library System, is a part of SCKLS’s Digital Library Initiative.  The project was begun with a grant from Humanities Kansas that included the digitizing of several fragile and one-of-a-kind documents, including a record of Kansas World War I veteran burials in France, Sumner County High School yearbooks, part of Dorothy Dey’s Wellington History collection  including the 1941 Historical Pageant that included approximately 600 school children, and numerous early 1900’s Community Club booklets
